Although the prestigious event Salone del Mobile. Milano does not take place in Paris, our blog though it would be interesting to do an introduction to one of the best leading design and home furnishings events in Europe. The global benchmark has been continually promoting not only Italian furniture brands but also brands from all around the world. iSaloni will take occurrence from 17-22 April 2018 in Milan Fairgrounds, Rho, Milan, and visitors can expect to see a wide variety of styles and high-quality products represented, from classic to modern design.
In the name of creativity and innovation, the prestigious event acts as a platform that continuously connects business to culture, building the story of the past, present and future of furniture and design, as well combining those with technology, flexibility and sustainability. More than 2,000 exhibiting brands and designers are expected to showcase their solutions of contemporary living in an area of more than 200,000 m2. The event will be comprised of a packed programme of innovations and appointments for the more than 300,000 expected visitors from over 165 different countries.

The Salone Internazionale del Mobile, otherwise known as iSaloni is held concurrently with the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition, split into the following style categories: Classic: Tradition in the Future, which draws on the values of tradition, craftsmanship and skill in the art of making furniture and objects in the classic style; Design, products that speak of functionality, innovation and boast a great sense of style and xLux, the section devoted to timeless luxury re-read in a contemporary key.
This edition marks the return of the biennial events EuroCucina /FTK (Technology For the Kitchen) and the International Bathroom Exhibition. The first one will introduce the trends for the future and spark inspiration with tomorrow’s kitchen will be an interconnected, multipurpose and professional place, yet one where emotions never fail to run high. The latter will showcase a wide range of extremely high-end goods, in an exhibiting space of over 10,000 square metres. Innovative design, style and trends are the buzzwords for these particular exhibitions.
To better explain this year’s edition of Salone Internazionale del Mobile, a press conference was held in Milano by this event’s Organization! Beppe Sala, Mayor of Milan, and Carlo Luti, President of the same Salone del Mobile were the leaders of this conference that produce the Design Manifesto of this year’ edition.
As a whole, the event manages to masterfully combine quality and creativity in a diverse environment, which is enhanced by the presence of some of the most renowned Italian and international luxury brands from all around the world, including Fendi Casa, Kartell, Poliform, Republic of Fritz Hansen, Baxter Italy, Minotti, Poltrana Frau, CasaMilano, Sahrai Milano and countless others.
Besides those already mentioned, visitors can also expect to see the pristine luxury brands from the illustrious brands from Covet Group: Boca do Lobo, Brabbu, DelightFULL, Essential Home, PullCast, Luxxu, Maison Valentina, Rug’Society and Circu! After a strong showing at Maison et Objet 2018 in Paris, the Covet Group aims to make a strong and luxurious splash at this Milanese event! After what they showcased in Paris, we bet that they will bring their A-Game to another Top Event of the year!
