ANTONIO FACCO NOMINATED BY GIULIO CAPPELLINI
Born in ’91, Antonio Facco is a proactive worker on his several fields of interest: product design, furniture design, interior design or photography. He attributes to creative process a matter of investigation and discipline.
Facco was found by legend Giulio Cappellini as he presented his graduation project, and they started working together immediately. Together they released the Luce collection, comprised of glass tables with clean geometric lines and different colored sides, that create an exquisite chromatic effect as users move around the object. Facco also designs products for Antolini, Bolon, AgustaWestland and Mohm .
Regarding Facco’s nomination, Cappellini mentions:
“Despite his young age, Antonio Facco is very attentive to changes in contemporary design and to communication. His projects are largely inspired by his observations of the younger generations, of their expectations and their behaviours. He has also developed a keen interest in materials and production methods, whether industrial or artisanal. His projects are always surprising, because they are the perfect synthesis of his thought process and sensitive nature. I believe Antonio Facco is truly one of the most promising representatives of the new design trends in Italy.”
Facco’s presentation for Maison et Objet, will include a visual in-depth analysis of time and society’s involvement in that concept. It is promised to include both product designs and interior project, all in one place, one experience and we can’t wait to see it.
