Graphic designer Romain Chirat and his partner, theater director Jean, had a clear vision for their one-bedroom place from the second they moved in. “We wanted to create a cozy and timeless home, with a little touch of Scandinavia, America and Japan,” the couple says. Their home in the heart of Paris had all of the bones to make their dream a reality, but it needed that extra bit of love to get it just right.
Paris is one of the most desirable cities in the world, so it comes as no surprise that apartments there run a bit small. Maximizing their quaint corner of the sky was the first step to getting the perfect space for the pair and their pup.
The two undoubtedly-creative souls tackled the majority of the apartment’s design, but looked to Architect Eloise Bosredon to help them create a bright and airy living area and bathroom.
Keeping in mind that the spaces should transcend styles and be easily customizable, Eloise’s work is clean, modern and timeless; just what the couple wanted. With the structure of their home intact, Romain and Jean then went about peppering in pretty Scandinavian and American touches.
Their style is evident from the get-go. Once you pass the entryway’s brilliantly-colorful wallpaper, the delights keep on coming.
