Moroso is coming back to Maison et Objet 2020, making its most exciting and grand comeback of all time! For years, the Italian brand has been working in close collaboration with some of the world’s most talented designers to manufacture high-end, design-led sofas and seating since 1952. This amazing brand never goes unnoticed in all of the design events, so today, Paris Design Agenda would like to show you what’s new for Moroso’s exhibit at Maison et Objet.

At Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center, in Hall 6, Stand I2/J1, you can find the prestigious Italian-based brand, Moroso, making its amazing comeback to Maison et Objet, consolidating its position on the French market. The brand decided to exhibit again its collection and recent novelties at Maison&Objet, which will be held from 17 to 21 January.

Their 100 sq m space at the event was designed by Moroso’s creative team, in collaboration with partner company Nanimarquina, with the goal of telling the story of a new way of living. Their booth wants to provoke the possibility of creating different experiences and styles, involving a shared sense of sensitivity and openness towards the world’s cultures, desire to experiment and deep passion for art.

The Moroso stand will feature some of the main new products on show at the last Salone del Mobile in Milan: the Gogan collection by Patricia Urquiola and the Precious chair family by Johannes Torpe. These new products will be accompanied by the Pipe chairs by Sebastian Herkner and the Mathilda and Phoenix tables by Patricia Urquiola. The installation will be completed by the Shadowy armchair by Tord Boontje, an icon of the M’Afrique outdoor collection.

Between all the amazing pieces displayed at the event, it will be highlighted the Pipe armchairs by Sebastian Herkner, which have a minimal, robust structure made with a powder-coated aluminum tube with an 80 mm diameter. A seat cushion with a roundish shape rests on top, a veiled allusion to the concept of an inflatable module; the backrest, like a bold bracket, promises comfort. The effect is a pleasant, casual and light roundness.

Through the amazing collaboration with the prestigious designer Patricia Urquiola, you’ll see the stunning Gogan sofa. Behind its concept, sits the inspiration of the Japanese stones traditionally used to protect and decorate the banks of rivers and lakes. The backrest and seat are joined by reinforcements that accentuate the sofa’s light design, giving the impression that it is suspended above the ground. Make sure you don’t miss Moroso‘s astounding exhibition at Maison et Objet 2020!
