It was on the past Friday, February 22nd, that the 44th Edition of the 2019 Cesár Awards took place, right in the Salle Pleyel, in Paris. Presented by the Académie Des Arts Et Techniques Du Cinéma, it was a star-studded night in the french film industry.
This year’s edition had a consistent trend right on the Red Carpet, and throughout the night. The absence of bright colors was mutual for almost every star at the ceremony, the chosen color for this year’s edition was evidently the black.
The trends that were also represented were definitely based on the use of frills, such as the Oscars, irregular gold details along some gowns worn by the artists.
Beside those important elements, there’s the use of lace with a particular design, and exquisite fabrics that are able to give a sophisticated touch, like a sparkle of a diamond.
Lily-Rose Depp wore a Chanel’s Couture Lace Midi Dress with satin courts. This was the star’s choice to honor the late fashion designer, Karl Lagerfeld. As iconic as Chanel is, you can observe and admire the trends that were featured at the ceremony.
Lily-Rose Depp wasn’t the only artist to pay her respects to Chanel’s famous fashion designer. Diane Kruger also presented herself with a Gold Feathered Mini Dress, with a sheer full-lenght underlay, from the Métiers D’Art 2019 collection. The actress paid a sentimental homage to Karl Lagerfeld, during the ceremony of 2019 Cesár Awards.
