Regarded as one of the best events destinated for the hospitality and restaurant sectors, EquipHotel Paris is making its return to Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, from 11-15 November. This year, the event will gather exciting new features and spaces where novelty products, including furniture, food, bathroom, technology, spa, among others will be unveiled. The show will also offer a series of innovative techniques, inspirational spaces as well as news and trends for one to succeed in this industry. Today, Paris Design Agenda explores some of the most enticing features of the event as well as showing some of the best moments from the 2016 edition in order for one to know what to expect.
EquipHotel is the best platform for hoteliers, chefs, restaurateurs, architects, decorators and investors to showcase their projects and establish business contacts. In this new edition, visitors will have the opportunity to be immersed in a 100% hospitality experience. This year, EquipHotel will distinguish itself by introducing a stronger design hub (located in halls 2,3 and 4), in an effort to being more than a trade show and becoming a multi-specialised force.
These brand-new and exclusive spaces are simply stunning and will allow visitors to fully explore all areas of hospitality and catering. Casa de Luz will take visitors on a motionless journey through Portuguese and French cuisine, imagined by Sandrine Alouf & Thierry Virvaire. In addition, the Signature Space, this time around will have a special focus on fabrics, carpets and wall-coverings and how one can create bespoke environments for hotels and restaurants. A dreamlike set design by Alnoor & Eric Lentulo will be one of the main exhibits to see.
EquipHotel’s Wellness Centre will highlight a majestic design by Didier Knoll & Elodie Goddard, based on themes such as water, nature and well-being. Moreover, Fabrice Knoll will present the “Cosy Lazy”, a unique bedroom project that pays homage to idleness and is a wonderful space where one can be connected only with nature. Another impressive feature will be the Interior Design Centre that will transform Pavilion 3 into an authentic and interactive Neo-Agora or marketplace.
Now, STUDIO18 will come back for its second edition with the purpose of showcasing cutting-edge trends and innovation. Each room was designed by renowned architects, including Jean-Philippe Neul which will present an exhibition emphasising on room service. Marc Hertrich and Nicolas Adnet will present their work in spaces like Resto des Chefs, the bar and the VIP/Press Club while Julie Gauthron, Christophe Gautrand and Benjamin Deshoulières will exhibit the “Digital rooftop”, a relaxing space that is pivotal to the hotel event. All of these marvellous exhibits will take place in Hall 7.
