Luxury Living Group and all of its essence were present at the esteemed Maison et Objet 2019. Today, Paris Design Agenda will talk about one of the brands in specific, the Ritz Paris Home Collection. Alongside the classic lines of the bedroom and study, two collections were proposed in which the timeless style of Ritz Paris follows new interpretations in design. This symbolic, functional revival – envisaged within a contemporary residential setting – is rooted in the fabulous history of Ritz Paris, which for 120 years has stirred emotions in its guests.
Further to the classic lines of the bedroom and study, two collections revisiting the timeless style of Ritz Paris were presented. The design aligns functionality and modernity, in a fabulous reflection of the Ritz Paris heritage, that has been inspiring its guests for more than 120 years. The bedroom proposes hand-carved pieces, coatings and gilding produced using the most precious, made in Italy savoir-faire.
Marcel armchairs, ottomans, the So Ritzy chaise longue and Impérial lamps are also other exclusive and extraordinary pieces that comprise this collection and form a beautiful backdrop to the majestic Ritzy bed. In the study, Ritzy Rendez-vous sofas and Songe armchairs reveal a welcoming atmosphere and cosy ambience.
The dining and living rooms are proposed in the new evolution of the Place Vendôme collection. French tradition is reinterpreted in a modern look with refined details and clear-cut profiles: shining lacquer and brass effect finishes. The fabrics are precious and contemporary: velvets, silks and satins play on a faux uni in the discretion of chiaroscuro tones. Colours range from Prussian blue to sand and ivory nuances, with wood panelling in softer shades. Warm, cocooning environments, embellished with elegant decorative accessories (leather boxes and crystal vases).
The third room finally reveals the eagerly awaited new stylistic interpretation of the Ritz Paris Home Collection. The audacious CoromanRitz line reveals innovative finishes inspired by the iconic Coromandel screens. The profiles are contemporary and the decorations can be customised, reflecting the bespoke approach offered by the Ritz Paris. The lightweight metal base – echoed in the details of the new lampshades and cascades of pearls made of Murano glass – contrasts with the shiny lacquer finish and modern geometric shapes that characterise the designs of the furnishings.
In 2019, the history and charm of Ritz Paris offer a new and unexpected versatility, in which finishes and decorations are also reflected on the walls and upholstery.
