If you are looking for some entertainment for this weekend, I should advice you Jardins, Jardin, a reference for the latest trends in urban gardens and exterior design. Jardins, Jardin celebrates its 10th anniversary and pays tribute to landscape architect André Le Nôtre.

The event starts this Friday, 31 May and it will happen until 2 June 2013, and promise to surprise gardening lovers.The event organizes in partnership with the Louvre a year of events and exhibitions at the Tuileries dedicated to André Le Nôtre, the famous gardener and landscape architect, who designed the most beautiful gardens of the 17th century.

Find out what will happen during the event: lectures and roundtable discussions for professionals, workshops (plants, gardens, etc.), events for children, book signings, exhibitions, not to mention the competition ‘Inventons les natures urbaines’. Two themes will be explored in depth ‘Urban agriculture’ and‘Green’ architecture, 10 years later, utopia or reality?’.

For this new edition, Jardins, Jardin also focuses on ‘new urban perspectives’ through the presentation of gardens and terraces by landscape designers, projects by schools of architecture, design and horticulture or latest products and prototypes in furniture, decoration and tools.
