The Rado Prize Contest is organized by the Swiss watch brand and boots the work of young designers. The competition consists of a jury prize and a public prize aiming to make the winners’ projects known to the entire design community. This year, the theme will be “Design Inspired by Nature, as Rado discloses, “transversal and polysemic theme: which involves a search for materials, textures and forms inspired by the world of nature. But also, a sensitivity to the sustainability of materials, in order to transmit to future generations, durability, emotion, the fight against planned obsolescence and an awareness of alternative consumption.” The projects of the finalists are set to be presented during Paris Design Week.
