Ever since I was 8 years old I began to like architecture and since then I thought about studying interior design.
Through the years people recognize my company as Richaud, I would describe my leadership style as direct, and leading by example. Dedicated to designing luxurious interiors, the responsibility of developing perfect work requires a team of designers with high qualities. I enjoy delegating tasks and taking the lead on projects, but I also like to stay involved to make sure all is correct and inspire my team by showing that I’m working hands-on to help them, too.
Yes, I love my job, when I design a project from the beginning to the end, I enjoy all the stages of the process, in addition, I enjoy working with my clients to discover their style and help them achieve that their spaces are designed correctly as they want.
During the design process several steps are required to achieve the perfectly designed space, but among these important steps is to design what the client likes or the space requires, residential or commercial, and make sure the place designed looks unique, functional, elegant, and timeless.
I read a lot about the industry, network, and get social.
Worldwide or locally there are several events, for example, if you need furniture to decorate a project, you can attend Milan Furniture Fair or you can visit High Point Market in North Carolina.
Very unique and eclectic.
Visual artists can get great inspiration from songs, films, stories, or experiences. In my case, I have learned who inspires me are the clients: after I listen to them talk about what they like, I then focus on their needs to start designing their spaces.
I am very creative, authentic, and I have a great attitude and this helps me to see the world differently.
Improving downtown Los Angeles. I grew up in Beverly Hills, but for me, it is impressive that when I was a child I saw terribly designed streets in Los Angeles, and I still see them. The government or developers can help improve this city by providing new projects such as office buildings, parks, libraries, etc.
In this industry, the client hires you because he or she likes the style of how you design, and sees your talents but regardless of this, chemistry is important because this job requires constant communication during the design process, without the correct communication, you cannot get to know who your client is and what they like.
Richaud Associates always keeps informed about worldwide new construction materials and furniture. Our library of resources is very wide and suitable for all tastes so that when we start a project we are prepared to present the best.
I am fully in charge of all the projects from the beginning to the end to ensure that everything is well designed. I have done many projects myself, but I also work as a team, when you are dedicated to designing luxury projects it is very difficult to find employees or designers with a high level of understanding in this industry or talents, but when you are a leader, you can supervise to ensure that the project is perfectly done and each designer can contribute with their talents.
Yes, at the present I am working on some nice projects, after the lockdown due to the pandemic, I am glad I am busy, but I am still taking precautions to help clients with their projects. I have always been dedicated to designing Estates, mega-mansions, boutiques or multi-family projects, etc, but for the first time and among these projects, I recently started designing luxury condominiums, in Beverly Hills and West Los Angeles for the last few years have built new condominium buildings and clients have started looking for my services.
The ability to design Estates and large multi-family projects. Among my plans in the future are commercial and multi-family projects.
I have many amazing stories to share about all my projects. One of them was the design of an Estate, a long time ago in Beverly Hills identified as Lania or Palazzo De Amore, owned by Mr. Jeff Greene. One of the first designers hired was Alberto Pinto but he never finished the property. Later with other designers, we collaborated to finish the property and the value of this Estate was over $100 Milion Dollars. After I finished designing this Estate, royalties began to contact me. But among other stories, I worked with the developer David Pourbaba CEO of 4 Development with whom I designed a multi-family in Downtown Los Angeles.
