Pierre And Marie Curie University in Paris shares an amazing color palette on its interior, a concept full of color that you would never think to find at a university. Who says going to school can’t be fun to be in? Périphériques Architects are the architectural masterminds behind this amazing project at the Jussieu Campus in this university. Today, Paris Design Agenda unveils every colorful corner around this original campus.
Périphériques Architects created this project within the Pierre and Marie Curie University, in Paris, specifically in the Jussieu Campus. This creative project sits on a vibrant and saturated color palette on the laboratory area, for the science students. There are colorful and geometrically shaped spaces, with pill-shaped apertures, on different areas of the laboratory.
Jussieu Campus at the Pierre and Marie Curie University is full of a spectrum of colors such as pink, blue and yellow halls, and also with custom design seating for the area. Despite the use of a lot of metal, which still maintains the laboratory vibe around the campus, is also embellished with the same colorful palette.
On each interior balcony at Pierre and Marie Curie University, on this special Jussieu Campus, there’s a beautiful combination of pastel colors. Périphériques Architects decided to invest on a saturated touch, which perfectly asks for the attention of every student. The building presents eccentric and outrageous design details, making it look modern and colorful.
This photo documentation is the work of Franck Bohbot, which perfectly portrays the amazing project from the Périphériques Architects. It greatly demonstrates the details that were used by this architectural firm, which are so futuristic and playful. Details such as the extensive lighting are an incredible and subtle touch that changes everything.
As you can see, it is possible to change things up a little bit, even if it is a serious space as is this laboratory. With that in mind, it comes to the point that Périphériques Architects are a architectural firm that are definitely breaking all boundaries, and the Pierre and Marie Curie University is the absolute proof.
