Used to work on restaurant projects, bars, hotels and boutiques’s conception, Michael Malapert has now completed ‘L’appartement Saint-Martin’ – a cafe and bar in the city’s trendy St. Denis district. With these interiors, the Paris-based interior designer shows that his approach is equated with the effervescence of a chief in its kitchen; he combined the ingredients (materials, lights, volume) to form the basis of a coherent study.
Meet the amazing project and see how amazingly Michael Malapert designed this apartment-bar.

This time around, raw materials combined with a large floral ceiling mural, provide a hip backdrop accented by black wood, warm lighting and rugged brickwork. In the summer months, large windows open to establish an intimate connection between the bar’s interior and terrace area.
The terrace located at 2 rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin is not only elegant but also has a mix of the bohemiam style.
The floral ceiling mural is beautifully done.
In this project, interior architect Michael Malapert proposes a new vision of the parisian cafe, a symbol of the city.
Brick wall and display shelves give the space a more relaxed feeling.
L’appartement Saint-Martin mixes the norms of a restaurant, a bar and a house, and achieves a genuine look that offers a new experience to both locals and tourists.
A new approach from other interior design styles, this café is making its way into one of leading cafés in Paris.
