BIRDS OF A FEATHER: PAOLA NAVONE’S DESIGN FOR PARIS JEWELRY SHOP DODO
Jewelry by Pomellato’s little-sister brand, Dodo, is charming as well as exquisite – adjectives that could also describe Interior Design Hall of Fame member Paola Navone.
So who better to design Dodo’s 1,600-square-foot Paris boutique?
She began by cladding the two-level envelope in her own spirited glass mosaic tile for Bisazza, Affresco.
Her chairs, Euphoria for Eumenis and Lea for Casamilano, pick up the tiles’ colorful florals.

A nod to nature comes via woodwork. Rustic cedar forms the display pedestals and the sales table, its shape an abstraction of the famously extinct dodo bird’s beak.
