Maison et Objet is almost over, we know. Yet we can think of a couple of good moments as well as some fine examples many design brands had to show during these days. So check out our list for the best of Maison et Objet 2019.
There were many highlights we could point out about this event, like the importance given to craftsmanship, or the importance that Asia will have as a potential market, and even the trends that have emerged from this event. In this article, we will tell you about some of the top brands of the event!
Fendi Casa is a name that had to be on this list! A great example of a reference to an elegant and cosmopolitan lifestyle. The furnishings made are mostly done with three styles in mind: contemporary, modern or classic.
Covet House was also at the event presenting two concepts in their stand: the Housing Concept (one space for people to look at pieces from its brands), and the Lounge Concept (for closer contact with the visitors, clients, and press).
Zaha Hadid’s new collection was definitely something for which many people were hyped about to see at Maison et Objet. The collection features a Swirl bowl made out of crystal glass as well as a monochromatic marble collection from the Cell range.
This lighting brand marked its presence alongside Essential Home at the same stand. With the intention of showing the best of vintage furniture design, they created the perfect environment for the effect. Not to mention the beautiful lighting pieces seen in the images.
This luxury brand has brought the best of vintage from the 30s and 50s of Paris to the event. In a celebration of mid-century design, Essential Home gave it a more contemporary twist by creating an elegant scenery at its stand.
Of course, we had to include Tom Dixon on our list! The brand presented new accessories and extraordinary objects with the touch of a monochromatic palette. The architecture of their stand was a memorable one indeed, from what we can see by the pictures.
This year stand of Lladro was conceived by Pierre Favresse (the current creative director) who gave a highlight to brand’s latest creations in artistic porcelain. Three rooms were available: the Heritage Room, the Design Room, and the Light&Scent Room.
“This is not a Gallery” was indeed an irreverent idea from this brand for their stand. There were two workshop cases put there as a homage to skilled artisans and to to the ancient traditional techniques. People could see for themselves the artisans doing what they do best with wonderful woodwork.
Based in the Czech Republic, this brand is known for producing exclusive glass lighting born of the skill of outstanding artisans based on the bohemian glassblowing tradition. Their stand had some wonderful examples to show.
Castelbell is a Portuguese brand specialized toiletry soaps and other luxury fragranced products for home and body. This was one of the brands that managed to take good advantage of the “aroma” factor in their products.
Luxxu managed to introduce us to a whole luxurious universe as well as 10 new products of their collection. It was luxury lighting and furniture at their best!
This brand manufactures furniture, upholstery, lighting, ceramics, and products for terraces and gardens. Their products are mostly used in hotels boutiques and exclusive private residences around the world. The timelessness of this brand could be seen from their stand!
Present in the market for over 20 years, Ibride is known for a series of unique collections instill life into unique objects infused with stories and emotions. That special touch could be seen in the objects spread all around their stand.
Pullcast also dared to place a showcase in their stand who showed the techniques of the craft used in the creation of jewelry hardware. It came to show the detail and care put into one small gold piece.

Riviere is an Italian brand that manufactures home accessories through the use of leather, wood and other precious materials. The stand shows some pleasant accessories.
Roberto Cavalli was also present with its homeware line. Inside their stand, they presented a range of furnishings for both home and offices. This brand is a good example of subtle luxury that shows in their furniture.
Of course, one of the best brands in fine tapestry design was at Maison et Objet. Sahrai Milano showed one stunning example of their work with an illustration of a Chinese Dragon marvelously shown in the fabric.
Maison Valentina presented some new bathroom furniture products, they also presented some new partnerships with other brands (like for example, Couto, Made in Youthland, Sanindusa, Pombo, etc). The surprises were revealed both at Maison et Objet and also at IMM Cologne 2019.

Seletti definitely had one of the most eye-catching stands at the event! This brand has done many categories of design works in art de la table, furniture, lighting, object, and decoration. We can see the company’s passion for several types of design shown here.
Silk-Ka is a brand with a passion for decoration with flowers. Stepping inside of their stand was like walking inside a beautiful tropical jungle from what we can see by the images.
Rug Society created a pinch of mystery and an enigmatic in their stand while showing off the best of luxury tapestry. There we new luxurious pieces of tapestry presented at this alternative interpretation of a mainstream stand.
Vetrerie di Empoli still remains as one great reference in the craft of glassware. Their collections, from what we can see from their stands are entirely manufactured with rigorous attention to detail.
Sirius in another shining example of excellence when it comes to lighting design. The decoration made from several lighting pieces seen at their stand was top-notch indeed!
Circu highlighted their novelties in their Cloud Collection. This collection had one bed, one bedside table, one chest of drawers, and even a Vanity Console. A beautiful sight for children and parents.
Vista Alegre was another brand full of surprises for the event. They showed new elements such as the ‘Única’ collection, the ‘Herbariae’ collection (done in cooperation with Christian Lacroix Maison), the ‘Amzōnia’ collection and even the beautiful cabinet ‘Once Upon a Time…’ done in collaboration with Boca do Lobo.
Preggo is a 14-year-old company with the goal of supporting Portuguese design brands. At the event, they showed shining examples of their exquisite craftsmanship expertise aligned with innovative technology. This was definitely a noticeable stand once you got a closer look.
A brand that takes the best advantage in the reinventing of porcelain. Its collections, show some of the most amazing home accessories made from the best craftsmanship.
Last but not least we have Hoot, a relatively recent furniture brand inspired by the decoration small sized furniture can give in order to enhance a room. In their stand, there were several lovely decorative pieces which makes this brand one with a promising future.
