Maison et Objet is over yet it left us with some stunning design brands collections that we just can’t get over! If you missed the event we’ve got you covered: here are the best collections that were shown at the event.
The brand came to the event with two of their latest collections: John Pawson’s ‘Vessels’ collection and Nendo’s ‘Softpond’ collection. The first is a series of minimalist candle holders, vases and bowls in Clear crystal, designed with irregular facets with the collaboration of John Pawson. The second collection, made alongside Japanese studio Nendo, is a series of crystal bowls with a design inspired by water and nature. These products are available in Montana Blue or Emerald crystal.
Not only that but Atelier Swarovski also presented a debut in-house collection. This set includes several types of pieces such as home décor pieces, scented candles, trays, and jewelry boxes and even desktop accessories, vases and candle holders. Not to mention the fact that all of these objects were made under the creative direction of Nadja Swarovski.
The Chzek brans Brokis also came in with some wonderful new innovations when it comes to lighting. Among their lighting novelties, we have one composition called PURO ECLECTIC, which consists of a series of compressions of suspended lights in the form of handblown glass Puro tubes. The ‘Eclectic’ part was added to the name based on the variously adjustable diagonal and intercommunicating tubes.
The Portuguese brand introduced the striking cabinet ‘Once Upon a Time…’ which was the product of a partnership with prestige interior design brand Boca do Lobo. Not only that but they also introduced a series of new lamps which were created by names which include Jo Sampson and Ross Lovegrove.
But wait: there’s more! They also added new products to the ‘Única’ collection as well as a new collection done in collaboration with Christian Lacroix Maison, named ‘Herbariae’. It just goes to show that this brand is strong in both its products and partnerships.
Woud has extended many of their original collections. Alongside some of their most relevant products are the Rombo Rugs (by Studio MLR), The Pump Table Lamp (by Kutarq Studio), the Soround Coffe Table (by Studio Nur), and the Tangent Table Lamp (by Frederik Kurzweg).

This is yet another example of a brand that has taken risks when it comes to lighting products. Among some of the most relevant elements of this brand at MO19 we can point to the table version of the curved STREET LAMP – FLOOR, as well as the lamppost-shaped lamps designed by Studio Job and part of the BLOW by Job and Seletti collection (which consists on plates, mugs, folding chairs, lamps, armchairs, mirrors, and bathroom accessories).
We also have to point out other products inspired by nature such as the Mouse Lamp and the red heart-shaped lamp, the new Cactus Lamps, the Snails and Mushrooms coat hangers, the Mushroom sconce, and even new SWING version of the celebrated Monkey Lamp. The SELETTI WEARS TOILETPAPER collection also continues with a new series of mirrors by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari and also a series of notebooks.
Zaha Hadid definitely generated buzz with their new collection in crystal, marble, and steel. Among some of the finest and most relevant products we can point to the SWIRL Bowl made in crystal glass, the HEW Tray in stainless steel, the Platter in Nero Marquina, and the Plate & Bowl Set in porcelain. The SWIRL Bowl definitely captured the attention of many curious people due to its complex geometry.
Not only did this brand introduce the participants at MO19 to a truly luxurious space in their stand, but they also introduced a new lighting collection called the Pharo collection, based on a lighthouse located in the island of Pharos in ancient Alexandria. This collection included a chandelier and a wall lamp and was presented alongside an unparalleled office collection.

The Spanish brand Lladró knows how to innovate within the porcelain branch. Not only have they announced a new project in conjunction with Marcel Wanders, but they also showed some of their new products at their stand, composed by High Porcelain sculptures, new decorative pieces with groundbreaking design and aesthetics as well as other functional objects such as lighting, candles, and home fragrances. They showed original creations in these three areas at their stand at MO19.
Of course, Meridiani had to make this list! Among their novelties, there’s the Harold modular sofa, the Nanì armchairs, and the Timothy bed. We can’t also forget the Adrian collection consisting of occasional tables featuring smooth edged tops with a slim metal frame (presented at the event in their optional brass tip version).
This luxury rug design brand joined forces with Boca do Lobo and Brabbu in order to create the new Wow Collection. This partnership end up with the creation of some of the most wonderful luxury living room products we’ve seen, such as the Skyscraper Floor Lamp, the Soleil Chairs, the Malay armchair, and others.
