Our city guide starts with the best Christmas window displays – the Galeries Lafayette. The iconic department store is all about adventures lived ‘once upon a time. Christmas Lights – Champs Elysées
For the best Christmas lights, head up to the Champs Elysées – worldly known for being one of the most luxurious avenues in the world. Starting at La Concorde and heading up to the Arc de Triomphe, you will be amazing with the eco-friendly lights in the trees to the amazing window displays, like the Yves Saint Laurent store.
Christmas Market – Village de Noël des Champs Elysées
Stay at the Champs Elysées and stroll around the Christmas Market. It is one the the best and most amazing christmas markets in the world. Have a hot wine and a tartiflette and enjoy the Christmas Gifts.
Ice Skating – Patinoire de L’Hôtel de Ville
Another amazing place in Paris is the Hôtel de Ville zone, between the Ile de France and the Marais. The most popular seasonal ice skating venue in town (and with the queues to prove it), this huge open-air rink in front of the city hall has become a symbol of Christmas in Paris.
Carousels – Hôtel de Ville
After skating, don’t go anywhere – at Hôtel de Ville you will also find one the best carousels in town. Hop on and have some fun! Other umissable carousels can be found at the Tuileries, Sacré-Coeur and Trocadéro.
Christmas Menus – Ciel de Paris
Taking our Paris city guide to another level, food, you will find the capital’s finest Christmas food and drink at le Ciel de Paris. The name comes from the fact it is located almost at the top of the Tour Montparnasse and has a faboulous view of the city.
For Kids – Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris is a magical place during christmas (and the rest of the year!). Doesn’t need an introduction, it is the place where fairies meet princess’ and the amazing Pixar characters.
Best view – Eiffel Tower
Is the icon of Paris and an unmissable view for anyone visiting Paris, at any time. Christmas makes it even more amazing.
