The renowned Italian reference, Dimore Studio was responsible for the interior design of the charming Hotel Saint-Marc in Paris. Through a personal, emotive and historical approach, the studio, comprised of the dynamic duo, Britt Moran and Emiliano Siciliano, were able to create vibrant and eclectic interiors, using colourful patterns, retro colors and Art Deco details, resulting in a one-of-a-kind aesthetic. Now, Paris Design Agenda will explore a bit about this extraordinary hospitality design!
Throughout the hotel, one can be delighted by architectural details that combine a concept of vintage elements with original creations made to measure. This allows for the spaces to be modern and fresh.
Guests are welcomed in the lobby, which is best defined by a mixture of white and black marble, honoring the French tradition. In addition, a series of furnishings in sumptuous velvet as well as refined hues give a warm touch to the common areas. In actuality, some of the custom-made furniture and accessories were placed in the hotel to make a contrast with the hotel’s classical architecture and art deco references.
Each of its 25 rooms presents their own characteristics and private area. Dimore Studio was able to give the ultimate “home away from home” experience to all guests. They used six base colors that in each room, ranging from a mustard tone to a green pine. Guests are bound to have a completely different experience independently of what room they stay.
The hotel also features inspirations from the 60’s and 70’s. Dimore Studio opted for a more chromatic approach while also adding a contemporary twist in its furniture designs. Both the design elements and spaces are quite adaptable to the needs of today’s travelers, and that’s why this luxury hotel is highly appreciated by tourists and locals alike.
