Franz Potisek found his personal way of mixing art with comfort, creating a sense of harmony in his interiors. In fact, a real designer is an assembler of beautiful things. And he knows how to create an atmosphere.
Potisek is a classic, not limited to a period of ancient or modern history. Franz Potisek creates timeless interiors. And he always has the thought in mind that a house is meant to be a home – the place to live in.
In the words of the designer “I like the idea of bringing back up to date something that is considered outdated. I also enjoy mixing periods and styles, genuine and fake, antique and modern. I adore playing with contrasts, colours, prints, and imagining solutions to elegantly conceal the utilitarian. I sometimes feel like an illusionist, but unlike set designers for films, everything I do is also functional and is calculated to the nearest millimetre to optimise the well-being of the future occupants.”
