Fries&Zumbühl
Kevin Fries and Jakob Zumbühl have been partners since 2003, executing incredible development and design projects. Within every project, they make sure to combine each designer’s different way of thinking and working, along with their mutual interests and design backgrounds. They also create new objects with their own identities meeting both the functional and sculptural demands of the user.
Bureau, the studio of Daniel Zamarbide was founded in 2012, that focuses on breaking the boundaries of architectural research. The firm has already won the Architecture award at the Swiss Art Awards 2013 for their design ‘Parole’, a sculptural cage based on the design of the Champ-Dollon prison in Geneva.
Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron created their company, in Basel in 1978, and now they have several projects all over the over, from Europe to American and Asia. Their designs share concepts on large and small-scale urban designs, such as museums and stadiums. They’re a very well known company that are established as one of the most prestigious swiss interior designers in the world.
