Paris Design Week, one of the most prestigious design weeks internationally, takes place from 9 to 18 September, in the exhibition center Paris Nord Villepinte. Its main attraction is the Maison&Objet, an important trade fair for furniture, design, and lifestyle.
Known for its two annual editions, always in the months of January and September, Maison et Objet will bring together face-to-face and online events presenting the main novelties of the furniture and interior design market.
With Desirable Development as the theme, the fair seeks to highlight the growing interest of consumers in ethical products and the solutions that brands are offering. Exhibitions and more than 200 conferences will promote analyses that will help participants understand the current design market from this perspective.
Flam&Luce
About 1,500 brands are present at the fair. They’re divided into six exhibition areas: Smart Gifts, dedicated to gifts; Cook and Share, reserved for kitchen items; Signature, for furniture and design; Fragrances, for household and personal perfumes; Kids & Family, dedicated to furniture for small; and Fashion Accessories, for fashion accessories.
Last week, a new pillar of the fair was launched: Maison et Objet Academy. It’s nothing else than a subscription streaming channel, that offers exclusive content reserved for professionals in the area.
Maison et Objet has created a tool, available all year, to complement the show: the MOM digital platform. It helps professionals in decor, design, and lifestyle on the search for new products and entering in contact with new suppliers.
Covet House brands, such as Boca do Lobo, Maison Valentina, Delightfull, among others, are present in this digital platform, with both products and online showrooms.
