Some time ago, PFB Design, an original interior and architecture practice with offices in Paris and Punta Cana, designed the marvelous interiors of an arty chic appartment in Paris, which is one of our favorite interior design projects. The stunning apartment features a large living room that communicates with the dining room, entrance and kitchen. But, one thing that immediately jumps the eye its high-ceiling Haussmann style. Today, Paris Design Agenda will explore the amazing features of this exceptional residential project.
To the request of a young family, PFB Design conceived two areas in the living room which were held together by the DUKONO armchair, a majestic piece from luxury brand, BRABBU. The purpose of such measure was made in order to improve the height of the apartment as the clients wanted an hotel-like room but with the comforts of one’s home.
In the main room, the design company led by Patricia Maugay Flores created a colourful environment where colours, such as black, brown, ochre and violet would make an everlasting statement. On the other hand, in the children’s room, they remodelled the bathrooms by transforming them into more functional spaces that brim with colour and light.
The clients wanted fanciful and modern dining room and to play with colour and the heights of the chairs, so the designers introduced two fauteuils NAMIB chairs from BRABBU as well, alongside smaller chairs with the same type of chromatic colours.
The final result was enhanced by the majesty of the high ceilings and the ornate mouldings. The apartment displays a creative symbiosis between luxury furniture and eclectic colour scheme.
