Jean-Louis Deniot launched last year a monograph of his work, entitled “Jean-Louis Deniot: Interiors”. Deniot is a Paris-based designer, known for his marvelous interiors that can combine history with contemporary flourishes.
This is the first book on the work of a designer whose classical interiors have been widely desired as the “epitome” of French style.
Deniot shows us in this book his richly layered look with deftly mixing patterns, textures and pieces from different periods but always combining with a mighty elegance. Vintage furnishing and a layering of textures and materials are also exposed on the designer’s work.
Jean-Louis Deniot Interiors, with 286 pages opens with Deniot’s own residence in Paris, which he describes as a mix of classicism and futurism, and also Deniot’s former home when work and life brought him to LA.
Deniot uses to describe his style as a little theatrical as he likes drama and loves interiors. It also looks like a French Chic style, featuring timeless interiors with different influences.
In his rooms there’s always a comfortable look which is never overly formal or trendy.
Deniot’s work signature is about creating unique atmospheres while retaining a sense of utmost chic and timeless elegance.
This book demonstrates a sophisticated classical style which is changing the scene for international design and offering inspiration and ideas to decorators, homeowners, and antiques enthusiasts.
