Rossana Orlandi was invited by LE BHV Marais, a luxury chain of stores that offers the most exquisite pieces into home decor and fashion, to showcase the Design Italia exhibition. The top Italian designer was recognized as the ambassador of this creative exhibition, in order to represent the design identity of the Italian design. Until September 29th, you’re more than welcome to visit this exhibition, that’s taking place during Paris Design Week and Maison Et Objet 2019! Today, Paris Design Agenda unveils all the details for this unforgettable event.
Rossana Orlandi is recognized as one of the top Italian interior designers, due to her prestigious work that’s appreciated all over the world. With that mindset, Le BHV Marais knew that it was obvious that she should be the one representing the Design Italia exhibition at their store, in Paris, from August 28th to September 29th.
Within the Design Italia exhibition, their amazing design is inviting on all floors and in the windows, with a selection of top designers and essential products of the Italian art of living, mixing it also with the French style. For this special event/exhibition, Rossana Orlandi is representing the Italian art and culture, due to the fact that she’s a founder and curator of two galleries in Milan and Porto Cervo, and of course for her incredible talent.
Rossana Orlandi shares a journey of 20 years on the fashion industry, where she worked with Giorgio Armani and Donna Karan. In 2002, she discovered her love for design, and created her own collection and opened an innovative gallery. Since that time, the designer has curated numerous exhibitions in Italy and around the world and has collaborated with leading brands in fashion, luxury and decoration.
With a major concern on the environment and the ecological future, Le BHV Marais definitely supported Rossana Orlandi’s recent project – GUILTLESSPLASTIC. This design project was created by Rossana Orlandi, which gave life to Ro Plastic – Master’s Pieces and the first edition (2019) of the Ro Plastic Prize. This event brings together designers, among the most famous in the world, invited by the Italian gallerist to make unique pieces of recycled plastic.
When it comes to the display of this project, you can admire the Von Pelt workshop, THE BOTTLE FISHERMAN at the Rue de Rivoli window. At the Observatory, the exhibition and sale Le Monde de Ro presents a selection of creative and environment-concerned projects from Ro Plastic Prize 2019 and unique pieces signed by artists, creators, and architects who brought Ro Plastic-Master’s Pieces 2019 to life.
