Maison Et Objet 2019 is currently shining with their edition of the Rising Talent Awards. While the previous editions of the award have focused on emerging talents from China, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Lebanon, they have decided to move on to the United States of America, whose size and cultural diversity have led to impressive design achievements. Today, Paris Design Agenda presents these incredible talents!

Bailey Fontaine

Bailey Fontaine presented his new collection, Plane, which impresses with the use of cement in large proportions, being highly innovative. The material is the basis for a bench with wooden feet, appears as a large plate for a light sculpture and also became a sculpture that resembles rocks.

Alex Brokamp

Alex Brokamp is inspired by the banal elements of our daily lives and nature. At Maison & Objet, there’s the “Handle With Care” table, using 3D printing on glass, surprising by its resemblance to plywood.

Green River Project

Green River Project brings to the furniture the references for the art concept. With a vintage look, the green pieces resemble the train cabs of India’s 1960s, a descendant of the designer’s family.

Harold

For this edition of Maison & Objet 2019, Harold studio decided to introduce some of their objects from previous collections and launched the new Bend table and Bench bench. Their creative design identity is crucial, and that’s why they were recognized as the rising talents.

Kin & Company

Direct from Brooklyn, these designers work with the metal and the various colors an oxidized patina can achieve after a delicate chemical process. The duo featured several creations with the feature, such as a mobile, and a glass-topped coffee table, mirror, bookcase, and objects.

Rosie Li

Science, nature, and math inspire pieces by designer Rosie Li, also from Brooklyn. Lamps that resemble foliage and bubbles bring natural shapes in a contemporary way, with shades of gold and iridescent finishes. Make sure to stop by each and every project from these emerging artists! They are the future for the world of interior design, so the support of every design aficionado is extremely important.
