FEDERICO PERI NOMINATED BY LUCA NICHETTO
Like his fellow January 2018 Rising Talents, Federico Peri is also a Milan-based designer whose work focuses on furniture and interior design, mainly private homes and commercial spaces and retail concept.
Peri’s design studio takes a philosophical approach towards object design concepts, connecting their function and purpose to their very own individual context.
The design process is driven by a consistent philosophical approach by which the studio creates concept that are intimately connected to their function and individual context. Their original Shapes (below) and Fontana Arte (above) collections depict this effort to perfection, with their intricate design that gives life to the intersection between geometry and minimalism.
Their work product achieves a standard of sheer excellence through the use of original aged materials, focusing not only on creating a “standard of beauty” but on the channeling of a real ideology through all of their design artwork, regardless of what category it fits under – furniture, installations, or interiors.
The highlight of Peri’s platform in this January’s Rising Talents is probably his Biblioteca Itinerante design, which is the perfect piece for anyone who’s an enthusiast of both high-end design and literature.
We look forward to Peri’s exhibition of his vision and art genius at Maison et Objet, and to show you firsthand what amazing things his collection has yet to reveal. Stay tuned onto ParisDesignAgenda to find out!
