Seven design experts based in the United States applied their far-reaching perspectives in choosing these Rising Talents. Rafael de Cárdenas, the principal of Architecture at Large, Odile Hainaut and Claire Pijoulat, founders of the annual WantedDesign trade show and cultural event in New York, Jerry Helling, president and creative director of Bernhardt Design, Nasir Kassamali, co-founder of the design emporium Luminaire, David Rockwell, award-winning architect and designer and Rosanne Somerson, president of Rhode Island School of Design
