From residential, commercial to furniture collections, he’s able to transform any project into something absolutely unique. On that note, Paris Design Agenda would like to present to you the designer’s recent redesign at La Réserve Eden Au Lac Zurich!
Meet La Réserve Eden Au Lac Zurich, an oasis right on the edge of calm waters, facing the mountains. Fortunately for this amazing place, full of potential, the Reyber Group collaborated with the top French designer, Philippe Starck, to transform this historic hotel, and give it a fabulous and sophisticated decor.
Far from the chaos on the amazing city of Zurich, there’s a space for the ultimate relaxation and sophistication, the La Réserve Eden Au Lac Zurich. Five minutes walk from the historic center, it allows you to enjoy the pleasures of the city while being calm. You can also take the time to dip in the lake since you’re surrounded by amazing views.
Before becoming this actual estate, absolutely transformed in the La Réserve collection, at the start of the year the hotel was offered a makeover by its owner Michel Reybier. He instructed the design and interior architecture agency of Philippe Starck, whom he had already asked for La Réserve Ramatuelle beach, to imagine the new decor for the hotel.
La Réserve Eden Au Lac Zurich features a specific set of characteristics that makes the hotel stand out every time, from armchairs with thick woolen fabrics, in natural tones, to the walls, stripped of their plaster. Warm terracotta tones are found throughout the rooms with eccentric wall coverings and the mahogany furniture or partitions.
On the ground floor of the hotel, a bar and a restaurant that is absolutely amazing and a dream for every comer that enters through the hotel. You also can’t miss the second restaurant, the Muna, and its two terraces, on the top floor, beneath the formidable framework. This transformation by Philippe Starck shows how incredible a transformation can be, especially in the hospitality industry!
