Philippe Starck‘s First United States Mansion is up for grabs, and this is exciting news for every interior design lover! This three-bedroom home is located in Los Angeles and it was once the French architect’s own home. Right now, this home is currently on the market for $2.8 million and it’s fully furnished, you just need to move in! Paris Design Agenda invites you to go on a tour and get to know each room.

Welcome to the first Los Angeles home designed by top French interior designer and architect, Philippe Starck. Estimated on $2.8 Million, this home is fully furnished, so it carries all the pieces needed to have a perfect home established. Although most of the pieces were not designed by Starck, you can properly feel the designer’s identity around it.

The main living areas share an open floor plan, with a lofted wood-beam ceiling connecting the upgraded kitchen to the living room. Bright yellow walls help to make the living room an eclectic and inviting space, and the yellow built-in bookshelves are especially fun and eccentric.

Get The Look:

Namib desert is one of the oldest and largest deserts in the world and NAMIB Armchair pays tribute to it. This powerful accent chair is upholstered in satin cotton and has legs in high gloss black lacquered, embodying an invigorating strength. It is the perfect twist on a classic product that will transform any living room set.

Each room features its own personality, as you can see through the touches of color and specific pieces that present specific and live colors, such as the yellow walls and pink chair. The concept throughout this home features a contemporary and artsy side, which is very much part of the architect’s identity.

The master bedroom shares a design vibe that translates on one word: bliss. The all-white color palette, along with the floor to ceiling windows, makes the space open and filled with natural light. This is one of the most perfect rooms around the home because it really captures the spirit and aesthetic of Los Angeles.

Originally built in 1953, the three-bedroom Los Angeles home also shares a charcoal-gray-and-white exterior, that resembles peace and harmony in hand with the most amazing views. To complete the outside area, there’s a small but exquisite pool that fits perfectly. For Philippe Starck‘s first take on home design in the United States, the result was pretty beautiful.
