Pierre Yovanovitch was the jury president at the Design Parade Toulon 2018, the event similar to Design Parade Hyères. After that event, Jean-Pierre Blanc, the director of the art centre Villa Noailles invited the designer back, to execute a boutique within the villa. Today, Paris Design Agenda shows you this amazing boutique that opened during the Annual International Photo And Fashion Festival.
By an invitation from Jean-Pierre Blanc, Pierre Yovanovitch designed an eccentric retail space at Villa Noailles, in Hyéres, that was inaugurated during the Annual International Photo and Fashion Festival. Through this invitation that occurred after being the jury president of the Design Parade Toulon 2018, the designer created an absolute wonder in this massive boutique.
Every designer aficionado that really knows Pierre Yovanovitch‘s design identity, is also aware that the designer would bring his eccentricity and energetic touches to the design of this new retail space. With that mindset, it is obvious through these images, Yovanovitch didn’t disappoint and brought that incredible eccentric look to the boutique.
Within this boutique, Pierre Yovanovitch sculpted bespoke furniture and archways, that would really bring this villa’s personality to life. Modernism architecture and design are featured on this boutique, containing also a cubist garden, with amazing and energetic colors. There are a lot of geometric frames, with a French Riviera vibe around it.
Pierre Yovanovitch‘s design identity is also present into the space! It evoked the project that was the designer’s exhibition “The Erotomania of Mademoiselle Oops”, which he presented at Design Parade Toulon in 2018. This means that the designer had a strong presence throughout this retail space, either on the exterior and interior.
This Villa Noailles retail space features also a beautiful color palette, that also translates the energy that’s well within the designer’s identity. This year, François Champsaur is the jury lead for the Design Parade Toulon, replacing the amazing Pierre Yovanovitch.
