Massimo Perotti, Sanlorenzo’s chairman, said that this collaboration with Patricia Urquiola was very much in need, due to the fact that they wanted a more feminine touch in their yacht interiors. Since the top interior designer is able to perfectly combine beauty and comfort, she was the perfect fit to embellish the yacht that was unveiled at Cannes Yachting Festival 2019.

The SD96 Yacht proudly presents an out-of-the-box concept, where they wanted to ensure that is possible to transform spaces and make it into a sensorial experience, to those who live a yachting lifestyle. With that mindset, Patricia Urquiola designed minimalistic settings, with a touch of high-quality materials.

This yacht stands out for the materials, shapes, and natural colors that perfectly evoke the marine world, as it should be. There’s a modern and elegant concept throughout the whole SD96 yacht, with oak-paneled walls, parquet flooring, fully-opening windows, sliding panels, along with bespoke pieces of furniture, that fit perfectly.
