Reference in the field of decoration, Sarah Lavoine created its interior architecture firm in 2002. In ten years, her name has become synonymous with Parisian taste, contemporary aesthetics, and craftsmanship of excellence. Sarah defended a new art of French living, which, combined with his talent passion for color, magnifies living areas entrusted to it. The young woman also connects personal creative projects. The iconic brand CFOC (French Company of the Orient and China) called this year in his knowledge of sourcing and decoration to rethink space and range of interior luxury.
A lobby, a restaurant, and a bar are revisited with the emblematic codes of Maison Sarah Lavoine. The associations of materials and colors multiply and are available in each space, forming the common thread of this institution on the Atlantic coast. A very bright place with decoration designed for all generations, where a holiday feeling takes hold in summer and a more cozy and warm atmosphere is established in winter. The different “seaside” blues cover the Riviera sofas, the Iris cushions, or the Double-Jeu bar chairs, while the ceilings house the iconic Bleu Sarah (Maison Sarah Lavoine Collection).
The Interior Architecture Studio of Maison Sarah Lavoine transforms a workspace at Europe 1.
The project is defined in the creation of a warm workspace taking up the decoration codes of an interior while combining comfort and functionality. The management of Europe 1 has taken up residence in the very modern hull of the former Canal Plus premises. An 80s-style concrete building decorated with large bay windows bordering entire spaces. The idea was to succeed in sculpting the space according to this natural light – omnipresent during the day and absent at night, and to bring back a pleasant atmosphere in this work throughout the day.
In this upscale space, we find a sophisticated lounge and a cozy atmosphere. The place has been designed as a living room so that the guests feel at home. A bar, a library, a vinyl turntable, a large comfortable leather sofa, thick curtains intoned colors, create a warm atmosphere. The boldness of the colors is frank and controlled through the intense Broadway Blue that dresses the walls of the room to give it a very intimate touch. Punctuated by natural materials such as wood, metal, velvet, and leather, the living room combines pieces of furniture in bright tones such as the flamboyant red Martine armchair and the large Léo Bleu Sarah ottoman. The Studio plays with the lights thanks to a patterned carpet taking up the geometry of Parisian parquet floors and mirrored shelves which pivot on themselves reflecting shades of deep colors and providing a feeling of space!
The old terracotta floor tiles or the wooden frame, which our architecture studio has left visible, have made it possible to find a balance between materials of character and the contemporary style of Maison Sarah Lavoine. Large glazed openings invite spaces to merge with the outdoors and natural light invades the rooms of the house. At nightfall, the Spône wall lights or the Sicilia lamps diffuse a delicate light and provide a warm and soothing atmosphere. The mirrors dress the walls, whose colors, like the emblematic “Sarah Blue”, structure space and create an atmosphere so unique to this place. Each piece of furniture or object has found its place, the Margot armchair, the Léo pouf or the large Passy candle add a soft comfort to the decor.
In the heart of the village of Auteuil, the Studio Maison Sarah Lavoine imagined the resolutely Parisian interiors of the Cogedim residence: common areas, lounge, restaurant, and apartments with the aim of creating a warm and elegant setting to meet up with friends and families. “For the Paris-Auteuil residence, we have sought to achieve a relaxed lifestyle through refined decoration. Comfort has been our priority by adapting lighting and certain furniture to the use of seniors.”
The Studio Maison Sarah Lavoine imagined the new offices of Maje located in the heart of Paris. An exceptional building nestled in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris and offering an Art Nouveau glass ceiling classified as French heritage. The objective of our Studio was to marry the traditional heritage and preserve the uniqueness of the rooms with a resolutely contemporary atmosphere. The reflection of the layout of the spaces was therefore oriented around this glass dome and to treat each room towards it by creating bridges of light.
The Maison Sarah Lavoine studio has been entrusted with the complete renovation of this house in the heart of Lille. A private mansion with old charm, with an area of 600m2. The studio knew how to keep the soul of the house while carrying out a work of contemporary interior architecture. There is a real harmony between each room. The materials are used with meticulousness and delicacy: marble, walnut, oak, brass, cane. All playing on the contrasts with the colors, Sarah Lavoine’s signature of Bleu Sarah, pink to brighten up the little girl’s bathroom, almond green in the kitchen.
The Maison Sarah Lavoine studio has designed a five-star hotel with 37 rooms, in the heart of the first arrondissement of Paris. Imagined as a place of life, on a human scale, inspired by the codes of the Parisian style and what characterizes and fascinates Sarah: colors, noble materials, and simple lines. Great freedom in the design allowed us to create, draw and think through every detail with a real bias and a strong coherence with the signature of the House. As soon as you step through the door, an intimate warmth emerges, a cozy and friendly atmosphere, like a house where it is good to meet. The lobby is lined with exotic wood-tinted wenge flooring in a mosaic mesh. The ceilings with the same finishes radiate an English club spirit.
The Studio Maison Sarah Lavoine signs the new head office of L’Oréal Luxe, “Seine 62”. A building of 45,000 m2 on 8 floors, in Levallois, where 2,500 employees work in style! The time spent in the workplace is increasingly important. The need for a very lively, very warm environment, the need to feel good at the office, revisited in a style “like at home” were the main inspirations of our mission. Our experience in the residential or hotel industry has found its place in this pharaonic project. A unique and feminine space where functional furniture and everyday objects harmonize to create an atmosphere of well-being in the office.
