The projects special itinerary

An itinerary of interior design professionals

Experts in lighting, wall and floor coverings, kitchens and bathrooms, not to mention floors, staircases, windows and doors. References for interior decorators and designers, whose names and faces are often less familiar to the general public. Yet their expertise is essential to those who are undertaking either a construction or remodelling project. This is the impetus behind PARIS DESIGN WEEK’s newest addition, the Projets special itinerary. Established in parallel with MAISON&OBJET PROJETS, held each year at the Parc des Expositions Paris Nord Villepinte, this new circuit of top retailers, galleries, and other key locations in interior design is a must for architects and decorators looking to source new professional suppliers, as well as for individuals seeking to meet reliable partners.

Marine Peyre is developing with French company Matéric – a specialist of acoustic solutions – a line of designer acoustic partitions, for the contract industry. Like a contemporary mashrabiya, the Pastilles partition physically plays with space in a modern and elegant way, allowing users to create changing visual boundaries, closed or open, depending on the orientation of the adjustable elements. Event opening (by invitation only) Saturday 5 September, starting at 6:00 pm.

In a setting glinting with metallic flakes of copper, silver and tin, the covering traces a new relief pattern in raised metal prints with an embossed texture. It creates another kind of aesthetic, like raw, matte ceramic in natural clay hues, creating the intimate illusion of kaolin.
