Mid-Century furniture has never been so in as now. The furnishings inspired by classical times still manage to charm us and make us dream of the good ol’ days. Essential Home is the perfect example of a brand which heavily promotes this style, something heavily seen in their stand at Maison et Objet. The Monocles Sideboard is one good example of a truly vintage piece.

Matte Black

Black is a color that matches everything remaining a color that can still be considered elegant. It brings a unique type of sophistication to furniture as we can see from Luxxu‘s Suspicion Console, Otto Armchair, Apotheosis TV Cabinet and others. With these pieces, your living room will truly have a noir sophistication to them.

Rounded shapes are here to stay! This shape can be perfectly applied to chandeliers, consoles, mirrors and other luxury furniture. Boca do Lobo has a couple of examples of unusual yet effective furniture such as the Metamorphosis Sconce, The Newton Chandelier the Magma Mirror and the Lapiaz Oval Center Table.

Animal Bold

In works made out of fabrics, it’s clear that animal patterns are still very in and quite elegant when applied in rugs and other relevant fabrics. Rug Society has the perfect example of a wonderful collection which manages to perfectly replicate a lot of animal’s lovely coats.

Raw Materials

Marble is the main example that comes to mind when talking about this topic! Not only does it come in white and grey but it also gives a timeless touch to furniture which is why it’s pretty used in bathrooms to this day. Just have a look at Maison Valentina‘s Petra Washbasin and see the elegance that this material gives to the piece. Fun fact: Porcelain and stone are also good alternatives!

Mellow Colors

Mellow Colors and metallic style are other fine examples of a leading trend in interior design. This trend can be seen in many of Covet House‘s fine furnishings. Just have a look and tell us that that color and texture doesn’t please you!

Circu is a brand that helps childhood dreams come true through decoration. The biggest example we can point out is the Rock Rocket chair which undoubtedly will be a dream come true for your little astronaut
