It’s between March 28-31, that Paris hosts a major event that focuses on art – Drawing Now Art Fair 2019. Paris Design Agenda lets you in on this amazing event, lets you know what this event is all about, and everything you can’t miss during these days.
Drawing Now Art Fair is the creation of Christine Phal, that was an art gallery owner in the past, for 20 years. With the purpose to create a bridge between the contemporary drawing and art collectors, Christine created the Contemporary Drawing Art Fair, in 2007, in order to fill that gap experienced in the art industry at the time.
Today, Drawing Now Art Fair is considered one of the major events in the agenda of art fairs, at an international level. Every edition is granted with 70 international galleries, that are carefully selected by an independent juror. Those galleries present their work to the attendees, and in every exhibition, it is possible to see many styles and techniques.
Besides the amazing exhibition available throughout the Drawing Now Art Fair, there’s also a complete program that revolves around the art industry, such as talks, artists interviews, videos, master now, and action performing drawing.
Last year’s edition, in 2018, the Drawing Now Art Fair hosted over 70 galleries, from 14 countries represented, with over 400 artists and 2000 art works exhibited. This 12th edition, during the 5-day event, received 20,000 visitors, to admire the artists’s exhibition.
