The hotel was renovated from 2012 until 2016 by Thierry W. Despont and the ballroom was extended to reanimate the spirit of joy and freedom that was spread there after World War II.

The Ritz Paris has a bar named after the writer Ernest Hemingway, an essential figure in the place that participated in the unique history of this place.
